Transgender - Is The Voice's Sasha Allen a girl?
Sasha admitted that she was a transgender at the time she entered in high school. Sasha was faced with some challenges but knew his family would support him and music was a way to aid. Jim and Sasha are now an official duo. The two songwriters have both performed at various local venues and open mics. The Voice coaches never discussed Sasha's background, but Jim and Sasha have shared their story in a clip that was presented prior to their show. They spoke about their most loved songs and the first guitar that Sasha owned. The father of Sasha is a music instructor, making learning the art form easier for Sasha. Sasha struggled as a young child with his gender identity. In a post on Instagram she shared her struggles. Jim broke down in tears as he shared the reasons of his reasons for not being able to take part. Sasha Allen was born as a woman. Sasha Allen, The Voice contestant, is expected to turn 19 in 2021. At the time Sasha was a freshman in the high school system, he came out as trans and began transitioning into male. Sasha posted to Instagram: "I'm proud to be the third person of trans gender to have appeared in the program. I'm so grateful to represent this group of people."
