Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briesm is an Icelandic actor is known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the wife of Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem was 9 when she started acting in the Icelandic National Theater. Briem worked as an actress in Iceland as a kid.
